Website Usability Clinic
These website usability clinics were conceived during a ProfitNet meeting…
The group thoroughly enjoyed Danny’s clinic which provided practical tips from basics through to specific ways of improving their customers’ experience when using their websites.
Danny’s style was relaxed and informative, encouraging audience participation. Members commented on the valid, honest assessment of their websites, giving them valuable feedback for improvements.
– Deana Ward, ProfitNet project manager for Brighton & Hove (following the 1st website clinic).
As a low cost introduction to web usability, web clinics help determine simple ways in which your website's user experience can be improved.
Sessions are highly interactive with lots of audience participation, so a group of between 10 and 20 people works well.
Sessions usually last about 1 hour.
Each audience member submits their website address and the host leads a discussion on how the site can be made better.
As a group, we talk through questions like:
Who are your customers?
What do they want to achieve at your website?
How do you expect your website to help your business?
Sessions are run by Danny Hope, a founder of Hobo and an experienced usability consultant.
